EventInsure provides liability insurance for:

  • Baby Shower, Baptism, Bar Mitzvah, Bat Mitzvah, Confirmation, Engagement, Ordination, Wedding, Wedding Shower
  • Anniversary, Birthday, Dance or Party, Graduation, Private Reception, Lecture, Meeting, Retirement, Reunion
  • Arts and Craft Fair, Automobile Show, Community Festival, Not-for-Profit Fund Raising Event, Theatrical and Musical Performance and Rehearsal, School Boosters Club or School Non-Profit, Events requiring Street Closure Permits, Other Special Events
  • Instructors of Park and Recreation Department Classes or Instructors of After School Enrichment Classes

Insurance is provided through the Special Event Liability Group Insurance Trust, a fully insured Risk Purchasing Group.

Insurance is available for Events held in only the States where the Risk Purchasing Group has been approved by the Department of Insurance of the State.

Special Conditions:

  • Limits apply separately for each event.
  • Coverage applies only to insured event.
  • Liquor Liability Aggregate Limit of Liability is included within the General Aggregate Limit of Liability when Liquor Liability has been purchased.
  • Provides 30-day notice of cancellation.
  • Vendors, Exhibitors and Concessionaires at an event can be added as Insureds for an additional premium charge.

Submission of this application does not guarantee coverage. Completion of these forms confirms your desire to obtain insurance coverage through the Special Event Liability Group Insurance Trust. Coverage will be bound for your requested dates upon receipt and approval of your completed application and payment of premium.

Insurance coverage can only be bound by the Administrator of the Purchasing Group, after review and approval.

After review and approval of your completed application, you will receive a quotation by email, fax or mail (please indicate preference on application). If you accept our quotation, please make arrangements for your payment to reach our office PRIOR TO THE EVENT DATE. We accept credit cards, cashier's checks and money orders; no personal checks. PLEASE CALL US TO PAY BY CREDIT CARD. Upon receipt of your payment, a Certificate of Insurance will be emailed, faxed, or sent to you by mail.

Report a Claim

A completed "Report of Injury or Loss" notice. Please obtain information contained in the attached form and mail or fax to HUB International, 2300 Clayton Road, Suite 300 Concord, CA 94520; FAX: 925-609-6550 within 24 hours or immediately if serious injury or death has resulted. If information is not complete, DO NOT DELAY -- many details can be obtained later.

A copy of the certificate of insurance issued to the event holder covering the event.

A copy of any incident, accident, or loss report taken at the time of the incident.

  • Can I get a quote over the phone? 
    No. An application must be submitted for review. Questions that do not pertain to your event may be left blank. Use the free-form area on the front page of the application for additional information.
  • When can I expect to receive a quote? 
    Within 24 to 48 hours.
  • Can I pay by credit card?
    Yes. Please call us to pay by credit card.
  • Do you accept personal checks?
    No. We accept either a cashier check or money order.
  • When is my payment due?
    Payment must be received PRIOR to the event date.
  • When is my Certificate of Insurance issued? 
    Once we receive payment of premium in full.
  • What are the Program limits of liability? 
    From $1,000,000 up to $5,000,000.
  • What type of coverage does the Program provide? 
    Primary General Liability. Please refer to Coverage Summary for breakdown of limits.
